Fast-growing Bradley Real Estate on Monday opened its first office in Sonoma County.
San Rafael-based Bradley has renovated and moved staff into the former Hurd Real Estate office at 1401 Fourth St. in Santa Rosa.
The independent business already has nine offices in Marin County and one in Napa.
Founded in 1997, the company had about 100 agents in 2006, said President and managing broker Robert Bradley. He said he already has hired seven new agents and hopes to soon have about 20 new and current agents based in Santa Rosa.
Bradley said he eventually aims to have upwards of 50 agents there, at which time “we’ll have more than 400 agents working for our company.”
About 40 percent of the company’s business comes from outside Marin County, much of it in Sonoma County, Bradley said. For that reason, he considered the availability of the Hurd office space as an opportunity to grow the business.
Bradley’s wife Melissa is the company’s CEO.
