A free Dec. 6 workshop in Santa Rosa will help prospective home buyers get ready to search for residential properties.
The event will be presented by the non-profit group Northbay Family Homes and by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
Topics will include pre-approval letters, short sales, foreclosure properties, FHA renovation loans and how to compete against all-cash offers. Participants will hear about the benefits of working with mortgage and real estate professionals.
The workshop will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the offices of Community Action Partnership, 1300 North Dutton Avenue.
