Today we are taking a peek at Cloverdale, located in the Alexander Valley and known as a city with lots of growth potential and small-town charm. Homes here are a relative bargain compared to many other parts of the county. With a current population of approximately 11,032, it will be interesting to see how the city expands and home values change over the years as the SMART train becomes a viable commuting option. We have a sampling of Cloverdale’s most expensive home at $2,295,000, a glimpse of what a buyer can expect for Sonoma County’s median price of $550,000 and the town’s “best bargain” single-family home at $279,900.
The Priciest House
Cloverdale’s most expensive single-family home is 1121 Highland Ranch Road, listed at $2,295,000. A whopping 4,000 square-feet, it has three bedrooms, four baths and rests on 8.3 acres. Built in a Tuscan style, the home sits at the top of a hill and has dramatic views of surrounding vineyards including the property’s own two acres of Cab Sauvignon. This property has been on and off the market quite a bit and the price has been reduced three times since being listed on the market in January at $2,750,000. Enjoy drone property videos? Median Price Gem
107 Caledonian Court is a 2,422-square-foot home with three bedrooms and three and a half baths. Listed at $549,000 it is close to the median Sonoma County home price of $550,000 and offers a lot of bang for your buck. It has not one or two but three master suites with walk-in closets. The garage is spectacular too. We look at a lot of houses, and it is rare to find a garage that is this clean and well-kept.
