675 Shiloh Canyon in Santa Rosa, listed for rent at $25,000 per month. (Sorry, the automobile is not included.)

If you want to live like a celeb in a private Wine Country getaway, 675 Shiloh Canyon could be just the home for you. At $25,000 per month, it is Sonoma County’s most expensive rental listing.  (The county’s next most-pricey rental is 210 2nd Street in Healdsburg, at $10,500 per month.)

Located in Santa Rosa in an exclusive gated community, Shiloh Estates, adjacent to the Mayacama Golf Club, “Villa Moderna” is 4,500 square feet on a private eight acre parcel and has a total of four bedrooms and four and a half baths.  The address lists Santa Rosa, but this property is only four miles from the main plaza in Healdsburg.

The exterior of the house has a Mediterranean feel with established vines and landscaping and amazing views of the valley. The house also has a wraparound porch, a separate 400 square-foot deck and eight-person Jacuzzi spa.

The inside of the home is fully furnished with modern decor and contemporary fixtures.  Worried that the home might seem too cold? Never fear – the marble floors throughout the living areas are heated. The main house has two living rooms – an upper, private area with a 70-inch HD television and a lower, more open room that has custom woodwork and a Bang and Olufsen sound system that connects throughout the kitchen and dining room.

All of the bedrooms are spaced out for maximum privacy and have wood flooring and HD televisions that range between 37 inch to 50 inches in size and have DVD players and DISH network service.  The fixtures and linens are all high-end, with Italian bed linens and Frette towels. (The owner is a former partner of Kimpton Hotels and was their Senior Vice President of Design, so it makes sense that the furnishings would be luxe.) The home also has custom doors, a bespoke staircase and  Phillipe Starck designed hardware in all of the baths, including a Duravit Starck jetted tub in the master.

Looking for the pool? So were we!  It is 50 feet long, currently under construction and will be completed by the spring.

Not many of us can afford $25,000 per month, but if you have an unlimited budget and a wish to hide away in the Wine Country, you would be in good company. You can contact the owner the the property’s website, www.villa-moderna.com. In the recent past, the home has been rented by the year by a local vintner who was in the process of building a new home and a world-renowned Bay Area-based singer who was renovating his main residence.
