Ayesha Curry, wife of NBA star Stephen Curry and a star in her own right, recently gave a talk at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa about her latest cookbook and new Food Network Show, “Ayesha’s Homemade.” You may think this has nothing to do with real estate, but it does if you’re a fan of either the Golden State Warriors or the Food Network.

The house in which the filming took place for the first season of the show is up for sale, giving the next owner the chance to cook in the kitchen that Ayesha Curry did – both for the show and her husband, Stephen Curry, the point guard for the Warriors who’s currently regarded as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history.

Let’s take a look at how these two stars live:

Entryway.

The entryway of this home is as grand as the exterior. The Curry’s have extensively remodeled, and most of the interior decorations are from Restoration Hardware, which probably explains why I was so excited to write about this particular home…

Lower level.

Lower level.

Stepping down to the lower level, you can tell that these two play as hard as they work.

Master bedroom.

Master bedroom.

The master bedroom looks to be about the size of my first house – and far better decorated.

Master bathroom.

Master bathroom.

The rainfall showerhead is a must for anyone who works long hours; or an NBA all-star.  According to the listing, the tub is a BainUltra therapeutic bathtub, which would be a huge plus for the athletic homebuyer.

Master closet.

Master closet.

Going strictly by the four pairs of Louboutin’s, this has to be Ayesha Curry’s half of a very impressive closet.

Sitting area.

Sitting area.

The home has a myriad of areas to sit down and relax, this small nook is one of them.

Dining room.

Dining room.

This casual, open dining area shows an open, comfortable area in which to enjoy meals – I get the idea that no one has ever felt rushed when eating.

Eat in kitchen.

Eat in kitchen.

And here’s the kitchen.  This is the scene that the new homeowners will be able to watch on Food Network, even as they’re enjoying cooking up meals in their new house.

Living room.

Living room.

The living room has large picture windows that help accentuate the open, airy feeling.

Guest bedroom.

Guest bedroom.

Of course the guest bedroom has a flat screen TV and fireplace.

Den.

Den.

Cars are my second favorite thing, so this custom chair in the den that’s a really racing seat gets a huge nod of approval.

Guest bathroom.

The guest room and guest bathroom are as well appointed as the rest of the house.

Curved staircase.

Curved staircase.

To get to the upper level, there’s a custom curved staircase.

Wetbar.

Wet bar.

When it’s time to have friends over to watch the game (any game, really. Or the premier of your new show…) a wet bar with granite counter tops will do nicely.

Living/Media room.

Living/Media room.

The game will look great in this living/media room.

Wine cellar.

Wine cellar.

If a guest doesn’t want a mixed drink, that’s okay – this house has a 2,000 bottle wine cellar. All you need to know is if they prefer red or white.

View from upstairs.

View from upstairs.

If the game gets too intense, you can carry your glass of wine out to the balcony to enjoy the view.

BBQ

BBQ.

If you get too hungry to go downstairs, go ahead and barbecue outside.

Kids room.

Kids room.

In case this house seems too ‘adult’ – there is a kids room. A very nicely decorated one, but a kids room nonetheless.

Another living room.

Another living area.

This small living area looks like an additional apartment or in-law unit.

Guest room.

The in-law unit even has it’s own master bedroom…I wouldn’t be surprised if long term guests try to stay just a little bit longer…
