Are you a baller on a budget? Do you have your heart set on stainless-steel appliances, granite counter tops and swimming pools, but can’t seem too find those amenities at your price range? A Sonoma County condominium may be the answer.

For the most part quality Sonoma County condos tend to be priced lower than single-family homes. Starting at around $300,000 and going up to just under a million, these properties run the gamut from cozy downtown lofts to one-of-a-kind mid-century lodges. You may also have access to the high-end amenities out of reach for those of us on a budget. Some HOAs offer swimming pools, spas, clubhouses, barbaques, tennis courts, jogging trails and more. Plus there is the added benefit of security and maintenance. Having someone to watch over your home and maintain the yard may be a huge plus for seniors looking to downsize or busy professionals with limited free time.

But there are considerable drawbacks too. The HOA fee must be factored into your budget, you are pretty close to your neighbors and some compounds have pet restrictions, so be sure to check compound rules before packing up Fido.
