Love is in the air! A new survey by Realtor.com claims owning a home might make you more attractive to a potential mate.

The report, released earlier this month, revealed that 46 percent of the 500 singles surveyed thought home-ownership made a potential partner more attractive.  The number went up to 48 percent among women and 60 percent among millennials.

“Attractiveness is in the eye of the beholder,” said Danielle Hale, chief economist at realtor.com,” and this survey data suggests that many beholders find home-ownership attractive, perhaps using it as a signal for financial savviness and success.”

For Sonoma County consumers, where a median home price is currently around $639,000, owning a home as a single may be far out of reach. But the good news is a number of  move-in-ready homes have just entered the market at or below the county median.
